Portal Ikat..

LoU created a beautiful series of ikats entitled 'Portals". They are entirely hand woven and hand dyed with all natural morinda citrifolia and indigo dyes. Woven in the traditional way by master craftsmen on the Indonesian island of Sumba. They are wonderful when used as interior design elements such as wall hangings or bed throws or table runners and can also be worn as a unique fashionable one of a kind wrap or shawl. LoU's modern motifs are innovative and breathtakingly beautiful. 

This ikat is a rare  work of art. It is approximately 18 feet long and is one continuous weaving !!!
