East West Woven Jackets by LoU

LoU was inspired to create a series of 'East West Jackets' working with a variety of wonderful textiles he collected along his travels throughout the Indonesian islands. He loved the concept that the same unique collar design could be worn as a nehru collar (as is traditionally worn in the east) and a turned down and open collar (as is traditionally worn in the west.) These jackets can be worn loosely or belted at the waist to give a more tapered appearance. All of these jackets are one of a kind and there are only a few remaining in the collection. They are LoU works of art and when they're gone.. they're gone.

This particular jacket is constructed from a wonderful striped fabric LoU collected from the islands. It has two frontal pockets with button closures as well as inner and outer ties if desired. It is tailored with extra care and attention to detail. It is extra large in scale.
